The Dominican Republic filed its Written Comments in the ICJ advisory proceeding on Obligations of States in Respect of Climate Change by the hand of H.E. Ambassador Juan Bautista Durán. Torres Iuris is honored to continue supporting the Dominican Republic’s efforts in this important matter, which has gathered a historical level of participation before the Court by States and authorized international organizations.
Dr. Alejandra Torres Camprubí, external legal counsel representing the Dominican Republic in this proceeding, expressed her renewed appreciation to the whole team, led by H.E. Roberto Álvarez, (Minister of Foreign Affairs), coordinated by Boni Guerrero Canto (Director of Legal Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs) and Julio José Rojas Báez, (Vice-president of the Interamerican Juridical Committee), and supported by the legal expertise of Profs. Claudia de Windt, LLM and Anderson J. Dirocie D., as well as by the Ministry of Environment and the Legal Department of the Executive Power.
